Burn More Calories
Even the shortest strength-training bout beeps working for you hours after you’ve reached home from the gym. One research suggests that if you did just one set of nine exercises, or about 11 minutes of strength training, for just 3 days a week, it may just increase your resting metabolic rate (the calories burned when you are doing just velapanti) and fat burning enough to help keep unwanted fat OUT!
The bad news: your body loses about a kilo of muscle a year after age 20. You are losing an asset because muscle is your body’s biggest calorie burner—burning five times as many calories per 2.5 kgs as fat. If you lose muscle, its like taking your foot off the accelerator of your metabolism at a time when you need to step up the fat burn!!!!!
